Mouth watering chocolate icing is what a lot of people prefer to their cakes for special occasions, some prefers coffee tasting cakes while others want any cakes as long as it taste sweet.. A query had been formulated in my ingenious brain, at long last, the moron have risen.. Haha.. How do you ever make a cake? A cake that will not be forgotten by people close to you, a cake that’s so perfectly done that you no longer want to touch it, a cake that will last a lifetime? I’ve read some cookbooks but it doesn’t seem to answer any of my questions, then I guess I’d have to do it by myself now? I am an aspiring chef, I am a good cook, and you could frequently see me in the kitchen experimenting and mastering to cook my mother’s home made recipes for future generation’s sake. I guess my mom was the one who triggered me to love cooking. Cooking is different from baking, but how can you bake if you don’t even know how to slice a tomato, and slicing is a must entity in cooking.
I want my cake to look simple. I want it to be plain white with some sprinkles of black above it, and the ingredients? Well, I want it to have a touch of laughter and happiness all year round, a hand full of failures to make me a better person in due time and learn from it so I can stand up and live life with aggressiveness to make it perfect, a slice of success to make me smile in a day or two or throughout the year! A spoon full of cheers from friends and family slash significant others to boost my morale as a person and to aid in my tolerance of fear of the unknown. And I would garnish it with a lot of thank yous to people who were there through thick and thin!
I want my cake to have these ingredients, simple yet functional. This is my wish.. Happy Natal Day to me! Cheers!
