I’ve been around on this blogging world for quite a while now, there are a lot of people who tried out blogging because it gives ‘em money and all. At first, money making wasn’t really my top priority when I started blogging, I wanted to prove something for myself that time and then later on I learned about making money while blogging, so I said why not try it, I won’t lose anything somehow( well I was wrong, dead wrong). I have established a good rapport to some bloggers whom later on became friends, they were the one who influenced me to write paid posts.. So it was a win-win situation! I also learned some tips about getting good backlinks from credible websites whose page ranks are greater than 3. It’s hard to built a blog with pagerank greater than three so be contented with a pagerank of 3 when you are still a starter, a pagerank of 3 can go a long way in terms of paid posts, believe me.
I have managed to get some good backlinks through commenting on other bloggers’ blog posts, posts that have quality content, now the result to this is a little bit slower than you think, it will take up to about 3-4 months before you can see the changes, but I believe this is a much better work than having that PR Storm that people are talking about. I don’t want to cause any untoward incidents for your blog nor for mine. PR Storm is a little bit overrated perse for starters and as they say, slowly but surely! You can also check this site out, hopefully it can help you. It teaches everyone a step by step method about getting good backlinks. Another one is your blog post quality of content which I believe is of importance to SEO or Search Engine Optimization, you can google about SEO if you want, there are tons of posts about it.
Well, as for me I am greatly honored to have had a few blogs that have reached pagerank 3 before until such time google changed thier criteria for giving out pageranks, I was the lucky few to have had got a staggering pagerank of zero for both of my sites - that happened early 2008. I think what happened before was that of carelessness and selfishness. I was eager to accept paid posts so much that I didn’t mind what will occur in the next few months for my blog. That’s life, sometimes you just have to sacrifice something in order for you to learn your lesson. and that lesson takes place in a later period that might cause so much trouble on you, a person, or a thing.
That incident really made me swore not to blog anymore, but I’m still here! I’m still here because I love blogging and the benefits I can get from it, building friendship, expanding my network, rant about my silly old life, and of course earn a little bit of money. hahaha. So go on, start commenting on blog posts like this one I sure love to hear you out!
